The person for this world record is a women her name is Kim Goodman. The record was set on November 02,2007.

Phillip Riggs’ Four Success Tips
1.Work hard
2.Follow your passions. Do things that you are interested in doing.
3. Don’t chase after money
4. Serve others. Do good things for others and good things will come to you.

Phillip Riggs is a very motivational person. He inspired me because he is a very good man. He has always worked hard all of his life, and that got him very far. He is doing what he has passion for and I look up to him because of that. He always only did things that he was interested in, and he never thought about the money. He is a very humble man, and I wish someday I can develop his good habits. He also says to give back to others. You shouldn’t always think about what you can get, but what you can give. He never really thought about himself, but what he had to give to others.

Great Wall Of China

Perhaps the most recognizable symbol of China and its long and vivid history, the Great Wall of China actually consists of numerous walls and fortifications, many running parallel to each other. Originally conceived by Emperor Qin Shi Huang (c. 259-210 B.C.) in the third century B.C. as a means of preventing incursions from barbarian nomads into the Chinese Empire. The wall is one of the most extensive construction projects ever completed. The best-known and best-preserved section of the Great Wall was built in the 14th through 17th centuries A.D., during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Though the Great Wall never effectively prevented invaders from entering China, it came to function more as a psychological barrier between Chinese civilization and the world, and remains a powerful symbol of the country’s enduring strength. When Emperor Qin Shi Huang ordered construction of the Great Wall around 221 B.C., the labor force that built the wall was made up largely of soldiers and convicts. It is said that as many as 400,000 people died during the wall's construction; many of these workers were buried within the wall itself. With the death of Qin Shi Huang and the fall of the Qin dynasty, much of the Great Wall fell into disrepair. The Bei Qi kingdom (550–577) built or repaired more than 900 miles of wall, and the short-lived but effective Sui dynasty (581–618) repaired and extended the Great Wall of China a number of times.

Reading

One thing that I love to do on my free time is read a good novel. I usually always have a book with me wherever I am. I love the feeling where a part in the book gets so good and you can't stop reading until you find out what's gonna happen. Reading is also a very great way to pass the time when you are bored. My passion for books has always been within me since I was in elementary. I was always a very fluent reader and was labeled as "gifted" and "honored" throughout my whole education. Reading helps me see things under a different light, and grow as a person. Ever since I was small, my grandma would read to me everyday, and I feel that that also had an impact on my intelligence. Reading can also help us clear our minds when we are stressed. I sometimes get so caught up into a book that I'll finish it in 3 days or less. One of my favorite places to be is the library because it's a friendly environment and is FILLED with books ! I am also thinking of volunteering there to do community service hours. I wish to own my very own vintage bookstore one day.

Student Success Statement
"Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being."

Reflection: This quote means that it is up to you to decide the path you want for you're mind, body, and spirit. Furthermore, you will stay balances as a person only if you perform well in all aspects. You are greatness waiting to happen. You need to choose the right to accomplish you're desired goals. You will be one step closer to achieve your educational objectives by staying away from harmful substances, and exercising for at least half an hour a day. Aside from you're body you also have to keep you're brain healthy. You can do this by eating healthy foods, and remembering that BREAKFAST is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is like brain food to you're mind in the morning. It starts the day off right, and prepares your mind to take in new information each day. Another thing that can help your mind is doing brain teasers to train your brain. The answer to success in the field of your spirit would be to have great character. Another thing that might make your spirits be high in happiness is meditation. Meditation can relax the mind and release any tension that might be trapped inside of you. And ALWAYS remember that the key to be triumphant in all 3 aspects is to CTR 24/7 !

Example: In order to take care of your mind and body, you have to say no to drugs. Drugs can have life-lasting effects on you're mind, they can make you paranoid and even cause death. Cocaine is the top known drug that makes you lose weight because you lose appetite, but this is not a healthy alternative to lose weight. You should choose exercise to improve your well being instead of doing drugs that can mess with your mind. If you try a drug once, you can become addicted for life. That will lead down the path of failure instead of success. If you CTR the first time, you  won't even have to think about Choosing the Right again because it will become a natural instinct to CHOOSE THE RIGHT.

Student Success Statement.
"When you tell one lie, it leads to another" -Paul Hatch
This quote is explaining that every time you tell a lie, you will tell another lie to cover the first lie up. He who permits himself to lie once, will find it easier to lie the second time. That's why we should CTR and not have to doubt our sub-conscious. If we always tell the truth, then there is no reason to lie. We should always tell thew truth even if its difficult, because it will be a lot less trouble than to be caught in a web of lies. If by any chance you do something wrong, be honest and admit to you're mistake so that it wont happen again. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything. If you always tell the truth, people will trust you more often because you are a trustworthy person. It is better to hurt someone with the truth than comfort them with a lie. It doesn't matter if it's just a small lie, big or small you are still lying and will not be trusted. We have to let our way of life (CTR) take the wheel, so that we are not tempted to lie. Maybe there will be consequences to an action whether you lie or tell the truth, but telling the truth will make you feel relieved that you lifted that weight off your chest. It leaves you with a clear state of mind, so that you don't have feelings of guilt. You also should not lie because when you are a liar, and you tell the truth for once, no one will believe you any more because of your past lies.

Example: If you finish the last brownie that was in a box and you know that it wasn't your brownie, you have 2 choices: lie or tell the truth. A person might feel the need to lie because they know that it is their fault, but by pushing the truth away there is much more trouble. Instead of saying that you didn't eat it , you can say that you did eat it and that you are very sorry, it won't happen again. A truthful apology is always more appreciated than a lie because you are being honest and recognize your mistake.

Some shows I watched over break were Awkward and Pretty Little Liars. Some places I went to are Downey .A movie that I also got to enjoy over break was The Visit. One sport event I watched was the Steelers vs. Bangals game, the Steelers won.I also got a lot of homework done during the break, because I had to practice my typing and other h.w. I loved all my presents on Christmas, and was very grateful for everyone of them. I also bought my grandmother a gift but she was in Victorville so I didn't get to give it to her yet. Some CTR experiences I had was walking an old lady across the street. Another CTR experience I had was helping my mom clean the house because she was busy studying for her college class.I also stayed with my grandma for a few nights, and I enjoyed myself. Some other surprising news that brought joy to my life was that my favorite aunt is pregnant! I am so excited because I cant wait to meet that bundle of joy ! I am very happy that I got this break to myself and now I am ready for school!

Class Evaluation

One thing I really enjoyed about this class this semester was that were learned to type efficiently and quickly.I also enjoy that there is such a wonderful teacher guiding us through each assignment, and how we can be better people, so that we can CTR 24/7. It is a good class with a good atmosphere and we learn something new all the time. One thing that I slightly disliked is that we do the same thing every day, without anything interesting or fun to it. I do know that school isn't about fun and games most of the time, but it wouldn't hurt to add new assignments to the agenda. However, I do enjoy when Haymore rewards us with free time when our behavior is splendid.

I can honestly say that I tried very hard in this class. I put my best thoughts into all my reflections in our Student Success Statements. At times, I would get off task, maybe by checking my phone or talking, but I always got my work done. I don't like to let any distractions distract me from being successful, so I try my hardest to ignore my peers that are trying to get in the way of me doing work that is well-done.

Lastly, I feel that I am truly committed to being a CTR person, because ever since I came into this class, I already feel the goodness and purity within my heart. It doesn't matter who is watching or not, when you do good you feel good. I also learned that there can be rewards along with choosing the right. The best things come to you when you least expect it because people know when you are an honest, kind person. Choosing the right isn't just a motto, it's a way of life. The life that I'm living now, thanks to CTR, is better than when I didn't know about CTR.I didn't know that being good can benefit you in many ways. I've learned to be honest, humble, kind, responsible, and many more desirable traits. I would like to take this moment to thank Mr. Haymore for being such a kind teacher and leader, by leading me into this better state of mind. I have felt great ever since I chose to CTR !!

Student Success Statement
The 3 questions
1.Can people trust me to do whats right?
2.Am I committed to doing my very best?
3.Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?

"If the answers to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail."

An example of this quote would be if you're parents are going out of town for a week, and you are responsible enough to not throw a party or drink with your friends.Another example would be if you're dad asks you to save some money for him and you spend it, then you could not be trusted

This quote means that if you are responsible, fair, and a CTR person everyone will be able to trust you. If you disobey these rules, you will not be trusted.Being trustworthy means that you have to trust yourself. You should always tell the truth to be trusted.Even if you make a mistake, fix it and don't do it again. You should take responsibility for your actions, even if is difficult.Being reliable means to display a sense of loyalty.

If you are committed to doing your very best, it doesn't matter if you win or lose something, all that matters is that you put in full effort to work to that goal. Also, if you treat people with respect and kindness, you will be treated the same way. Before you say something to someone, think about if that is the way you'd like someone to speak to you, then say it.

Physical Fitness
Student Success Statement
"Physical fitness is not the only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind are subtle and complex..Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."

This quote means that being healthy is a good thing. It is good for your physical fitness, and for your mental health.
Your body will not function at it's full capacity if you don't keep your body healthy. For example, instead of eating Hot Cheetos or candy, you should substitute it with healthy vegetables. For dinner, instead of having pizza, you should have a salad with lots of greens. Calcium is also important because it makes your bones strong. You should never go without eating at breakfast time, because i is the most important meal of the day.If you stay healthy, your mind will also stay strong. You should also incorporate at least an hour of exercise everyday. exercising will help your body stay in shape along with eating healthy foods.
Disneyland
Disneyland Park, originally Disneyland, is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, opened on July 17, 1955. It is the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney .During Christmas lights fill up the night sky and it is so beautiful. It is a work of art itself, and it is an excellent place to spend time with your family. My personal favorite ride is Splash Mountain. It's a small world is an amazing place, it is so pretty there.Alice in wonderland is another one of my favorite rides, and the mad tea party. Other attractions include the bakery tour, the Disney gallery, and the Sorcerers workshop.I also love going to the Disney gift shop because they have so many cute things. What I admire about Disney is that it is all day fun. The rides at Disneyland are endless, you can never get tired of them. Also, I bring my autograph book whenever I go to get signatures from famous Disney stars: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, and many more ! I selected this place because it is the happiest place on Earth.

Thanksgiving Week

My thanksgiving weekend was very wonderful & lots of fun. One of the best-loved places I went to was the grove. It is such an amazing place, especially when the very high tree is all lit up when night falls. Then as the tree illuminates all of the stores, there is also many other palm trees that have gorgeous Christmas lights.Santa Claus was also there, putting a smile on kids faces, which made me smile. There was also a trolley that tours around the grove giving passengers a magnificent view. I was extremely jolly when I opened the door to my family on Thanksgiving. We had pocole as our main dish, dumplings as a side dish, and finally some sweet rich classic favorite pumpkin pie.I didn't watch any movies, because I am more into T.V shows. Some of the shows that I watched are Pretty Little Liars and The Walking Dead. I also invested most of my time reading To Kill A MockingBird by Harper Lee, for my 6th period honors English class.I was very grateful to have such a great time with my loved ones, and I am also grateful for everything in this delightful life that God has given us.

Shall be wise
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. -Proverbs 13:20

What this quote means is that if you surround yourself with good friends that encourage you to do good things, then you will be a CTR person. However, if you surround yourself with negative people that want to do bad things, they will influence you to do bad things which is choosing the wrong.

An example of this would be a wise student making interactions with other CTR scholars. If this student involves him/herself with delinquents who drink illegally, they would fall into the wrong path.

This quote is saying that the people you hang around at school, or in your neighborhood can influence you in a positive or negative way. They can change your mindset, and possibly your future. An unwise companion will choose the wrong, unlike the wise companion who will choose the right. If you don't want to face the consequences of acting like a fool, then you should surround yourself with wise individuals. If you choose to hang with the right crowd, you will feel encouraged and feel good within yourself to choose the right. Itr is like saying "Show me your friends, and I'll show you your future." This also means that whoever you like to be with now, will be how your future role will play out. If you start with a strong mindset, you will find happiness within yourself, and not get influenced by others.

Student Success Statement 'Always'
"Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it" William Penn

What this quote means is that even if everyone chooses to do the wrong thing, it doesn't make it right. It will remain wrong, even if it is said to be right. An example of this would be if everyone is drinking at a party, it doesn't make it right because they are choosing the wrong. Also, just because everyone else is doing it doesn't mean that you should do it too.

Another example can be if someone speeds when the street light is red, they are a CTW person. If that person decides to follow the rules, even if everyone else is running red lights then they are automatically a CTR person. No matter who is choosing the right, right will always be right. The same will go for whoever is choosing the wrong, it will always be wrong as a fact. Choosing the right is important no matter what a person is going through or put under. It is also important to follow people that are CTR people instead of people who earn F's in school and do drugs. If everyone is choosing the wrong it is your responsibility to lead the right way .

There will always be challenges including peer pressure, but you have to have a strong mentality and be able to say no to doing wrong things. Remember that choosing the right will lead you to success and happiness within your heart.

Student Success Statement (SSS): Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now.Write down what you want most and see it often." Peter Vidmar

For example Peter Vidmar probably wanted to go out with friends or play video games, but instead he chose to focus on his main goal. His main goal was to be a gold medal winner at the Olympics.

What this quote means is to avoid distractions by your desires now to reach your most desired goal later. Reaching your future goals is more important that the small ideas you have now.If you get sidetracked at trying to reach your goals, you will never accomplish them. You cant get distracted with present desires because you wont be able to reach your future ones.An example of this would be if instead of not studying for a quiz, you study for hours to get an A on that test, because you really want to get good grades to get accepted into the best college. As you strive to reach your future goals, your actions will shape whether you achieve this goal or not.

Peter Vidmar says to write it down so you wont forget. It is important that we look at this many time because we have to stay focused on our goals.
